Welcome To Elizabeth Lenart

Equipped with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, and two Harrington Rods in my spine, I foster how it FEELS to exercise. I affirm not letting what we cannot do interfere with what we can do.  I believe in building a strong self from the inside out and exercising with intention. I emphasize to my clients that they are "better than random". They need to do more than just show up, they should know what they are training for. I embrace that there is a difference between what we cannot do and what we don’t WANT to do.  

With experience directing at facilities including World’s, Gold’s, Bally’s, non-profits, spa industry and even the collegiate arena, I stays on top of industry trends and connected with other educators. I enjoy mentoring and consulting for and with new fitness professionals, and have been called the fitness guidance counselor for clients, colleagues and staff.  

As the owner and founder of innerathlete, I’m known for explosive intervals, electric coaching, and innovative programming. I thrive on creating a group experience. I amplify performance and increase base levels via HITT, stength training and indoor cycling, while inspiring flow and rejuvination through dance and mind/body. I’m just as passionate about individual training, wellness coaching and creating unique individual transition plans. My capability in counseling and coaching influence each session and interaction. I train from the inside, out.

I possess National Certifications with both ACE and AFAA. I’m a Master Trainer for Balletone, BOSU, Hedstrom Fitness (Kamagon & Surge), Tabata Bootcamp and Barre Above. I’m an ambassador for Carbon 38. I can be seen regularly on Mass Appeal as a fitness expert, blog for BOSU and Hedstrom Fitness .

I could tell you who I’ve worked for, am certified with, or about the people I have trained who have opened facilities of their own. Instead, here is what the resume doesn’t tell you about me- and how I can impact YOU.

Impact, you see, changes everything. Sometimes impact is a sucker punch or a completely illegal hit. Sometimes we become our very own opponent. Sometimes the impact is a hope, dream, love or experience that leaves you breathless. Sometimes the hit is a catalyst for moving forward.

Impact, however, is like a gift-it is something you can both give and receive. Impact happens when you make a mistake, when you’re caught off guard, when you are inspired, when you encounter that magic maker, game changer, soul seeker kind of person.

Everything you do has impact; you were born to create impact. This is where I come in. I finally decided to take my hits, put the lessons to good use, and positively impact you. We are who we are and where we are as a result of a series of events that didn’t happen by accident. Each hit resulted in impact that took us to the next phase. You DO have a purpose. You DO have and can create power. You ARE able to carry yourself and move forward with poise.

We have all taken and dished out hits. When the dust settles, you HAVE to DO THE WORK to create your new self. I’m not talking going to the spa or buying new lip gloss here. Raw, deep work and rebuilding. I stick with it EVERY DAY. This is why I know you can do the work too.

So who am I? I’m an empathetic ass -kicker, emotion evoker, magic maker, spiritual diva. I’m a fitness instructor, trainer, presenter, mentor, wellness coach, counselor, consultant, and business owner. I’m the ultimate aunt, a daughter, sister and soul sister, team player, and loyal friend. I’m an advocate of things that sparkle, big ( ish) hair, food without lots of shit on it and of personal space ( I appreciate time alone). I love to hit it in the gym, smash goals, challenge my body but I love bubbles, laughing ‘til it hurts and a really good time. I would love to live life in either gym clothes or evening gowns or sun dresses. I am incapable of loving or caring only half way. I’m a hurricane of grace- you’re either ready for me, or you’re not.

Together, we can create a new physique, fitness program, career, lifestyle or point of attraction. We can build muscle, self-esteem, and a plan to get you there. I can teach you to teach, train you to train, awaken your inner athlete, inspire you to rebuild yourself from the inside, out.

You see- sometimes in life you get hit. And when you get hit hard ~ your only choice is…to..hit…back. And that is the beauty and creation of impact. It changes everything. My hope is to impact YOU.

Double It Up with BOSU®!

Looking to spice up your BOSU® Balance Trainer routine? There are no two ways about it, using TWO Balance Trainers together can increase the level of difficulty, elevate your heart rate, and further challenge balance and coordination. Double it up this month with a few new BOSU® exercises! 

Think carefully about the clients you will inspire with each exercise or drill. Contemplate why you have chosen the exercise and how you will cue it to ensure success. Will you progress or regress with speed, range of motion, or duration? How do you want it to feel? Smooth? Controlled? Explosive? Would you like the client to achieve a certain level of fatigue or breathlessness in a particular amount of time? There are always several ways to increase or decrease intensity so be deliberate with instructions and goals.

Lift and Shift with the BOSU® Ballast® Ball

There’s a reason my clients grab a BOSU® Ballast® Ball instead of a standard stability ball. Let’s chat!
